Northland Hotel Customer Appreciation Day
The NORTHLAND will be hosting our annual CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY on Saturday, December 14th from 4-8pm. There will be a WILD GAME COOK OFF with prizes for participants plus additional gift items to be raffled off, with local favorite and super popular MIKE RODRIGUE gracing our presence!!
New Years Eve Party at the Northland Hotel
Northland Hotel’s NEW YEARS EVE PARTY is Tuesday night, December 31st from 9pm to 2am. In addition to free finger food, we will have the sounds of the DJ DAIGLE DUO spinning tunes for your dancing and overall pleasure and fun!!!

Free Thanksgiving Feast
Annual THANKSGIVING DAY FEAST from 2pm to 6pm!!! Tons of food donated by the staff and the local community as a whole--all for FREE! This is always a fun gathering where everyone enjoys the giving spirit--plus stuffing their faces!

CPKC Holiday Train

The 2024 CPKC Holiday Train will tour Canada and the U.S. November 22nd through December 20th, raising money, food and awareness, to support food banks across their network.
You can enjoy free live music from the brightly decorated train's stage. CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation.

Total Solar Eclipse
Total Solar Eclipse 2024
A Total Solar Eclipse occurs when the moon is near the closest point to Earth so that the moon completely blocks out the sun, creating total darkness. The last two Total Solar Eclipses in the U.S. were in 1979 and 2017. On April 8, 2024, we are expecting to experience total darkness at 14:18:54 (2:18 pm). Since the Jackman region is in the central line of the Total Eclipse, the darkness is expected to last for 3 minutes and 26 seconds.
